A Course In Miracles Retreat
A
retreat weekend based on the inspiring principals of A Course in
Miracles.
Most of what appears to be external obstacles are really internal ones. We complain about him or her, this or that, and convince ourselves that if things outside of us would change, our experience of life would change. But our internal landscape determines our experience of the external one. Perception is not a window, it is a mirror. This is a retreat about the removing of the blocks that cover the joy and happiness that lies within us.
This has been a life changing weekend for those who have attended over the past 2 years. We invite you to join us. The retreat weekend will be focusing in depth on the relinquishment of a thought system based on fear for a thought system based on love.
What might you walk away with? A deeper sense of peace. A greater willingness to forgive. Greater connections with others. And perhaps a notion that life isn’t always the way it seems – it’s better!

I would like to extend a very special "THANK YOU" to everyone who has participated in this project over the past 5 years. The experiences have always been incredible. Hopefully, if you haven't come, you will come.
We feed the homeless on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 3:00 p.m. at Pioneer Park. Please bring a pot-luck dish and come help us. If you are unable to bring a dish, come anyway and help us serve the food. This always proves to be a wonderful experience for everyone involved.
If you have any backpacks or other personal items to give away, please call or email Jon. He has filled and given away over 500 backpacks to homeless people and has also given about 500 backpacks to the Foster Parent Program for the kids. They prefer soft-sided gym bag type bags and John could use more of those as well. This is an ongoing project. If you have some to give away, please call. You can purchase them as well and donate them to John.
Other items needed are soaps and lotions or other personal items to put in the backpacks. Hotel sizes are just fine or if you want to purchase items, that is good as well. SOCKS are always needed.
